Loveable Luxuries Manicure - Spring Cuteness!

Have you seen a sweeter nail art set than this? I haven't! And I wasn't even planning on buying this... But... What else could I do? It grabbed my eye at Primark Westfield Stratford while I was queueing for the cashier. You know those queues! And for just a fiver, I couldn't resist the temptation. The previous day I was looking at some really cool pastel nail polishes at a famous high street fashion store and the price for 4 from the pastel essentials of the season (blue, mint, pink or powder pink, yellow or orange) would be way higher - more than double, in fact. And that without the cute flower stickers, glittter and bow embellishments. And fancy packaging and emery board. FOR JUST A FIVER - did I say that before?

This is the bright pink nail polish from my Spring Fever Gift Pack by Max Factor. It's Glossfinity nr 119 "Forever Glam" and it makes me think stylish fashion parties. So to make it even more fun and joyous in that fashion party context, I matched it with a transparent Angelica confetti effect top coat nail lacquer which I bought from Primark the other day. Since I discovered them last summer, I collect Angelica top coat nail lacquers quite frantically; they are good quality, value for money and often limited edition.

Green a little green of me

A week ago I bought an amazing pair of trousers for spring, mint with a white and gray floral pattern of small flowers. I plan on wearing it as a total mint look, with a mint top with puffy short sleeves, a mint and pastel gray handbag by George, Gina and Lucy and a pair of gray pointed pumps - perhaps with a diagonal cut for a modern touch to the overall romanticism of the outfit - so I thought I should match this with a green-based eye makeup. 

Trouble was, all my green eye shadows were either dark and wintery or cabbage green. My total mint look would need something more sophisticated than cabbage or neon green, still not a rich wintery emerald green OR mint again. So I had a look around my local Boots store and I bought these two from Max Factor.
